standing on tiptoes

waning crescent moon -
hide your face behind the clouds…
misty mystery

looking at the moon -
knowing you are looking too…
resting on moonbeams

daylight’s recession
moonlight’s rise to the spotlight
never ending shift

mist veil covers pale moon
darkness drapes itself about
flowing into night

werewolves good or bad?
missed the ten o’clock pickup
was it the full moon?
