now quiet lassitude

all are in a rush -
morning hustle and bustle…
but dog is snoring

four black floppy ears -
two tails, eight legs, and four eyes…
puddle of poodles

Hallie-Lou-ya girl -
snuggled up under my arm…
breathing in, and out

now eight more dog legs -
four ears, four eyes, and two tails…
grand-dogs have come back!

dogs dance during day -
Daniel disbelieves dogs dance…
don dogma, Daniel!

Hallie bit the bone -
conical teeth down to three…
baby’s first tooth lost!
